Founded in 2012, GSR Forecourts is a well-established, family-owned business headquartered in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. The company’s journey began in 2010 when brothers Suman and Sudheer entered the fuel retail industry as commission operators, managing sites for Murco, Shell, and Esso.
A pivotal moment came in 2021 when Gulf Petroleum decided to divest part of its network. Seizing the opportunity, GSR Forecourts acquired its first site—Swan Service Station—and officially launched its brand. From that milestone onward, the company has grown steadily, building a reputation for reliability, customer service, and operational excellence.
Today, GSR Forecourts operates a diversified portfolio of 13 petrol forecourts and convenience stores across England, with locations spanning Sheffield, Manchester, Stoke-on-Trent, Corby South, and surrounding areas.
Over the years GSR Forecourts have sought strategic, well known brand partners that would compliment their business and have teamed up with the likes of BP, Shell, Spar, Costa and Subway to name a few. All the forecourts, stores and Subways operate 24/7, 365 days a year. GSR Forecourts employs over 100 personnel and provides a quality and 'best in class' service to over 200,000 customers a week. GSR Forecourts have recently re-developed sites in Sheffield, Manchester, Corby which were completed in 2025.
